AppMachine is currently working on new functionality that will allow you to add user login functionality to your app.
These new features will take care of everything around user registration inside your app. To give you a sneak preview of what we are going to offer here’s a little list:
We are going to add the ability to let users login inside your app, and based on their account you can show the appropriate content.
To do so you will be given a number of options:
- You already have a database containing user accounts and you can connect to your database (via a REST Webservice) to validate the account credentials;
- You can use the new User registration features to let users login into your app, so we will provide an all-in-one solution where we take care of everything for you;
- Users can use their existing social networks - such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and also LinkedIn and Salesforce, to login into your app;
B. User registration
We are also going to offer user registrations, where users will be able to register themselves from within your app. You can ask for basic information such as their name, email address and a password but also some more detailed information about their gender, age range and so on.
STATUS: Available! Read more here.
C. Access management
With the ability to let users login into your app you can also show content inside your app based on their access level and their authorization. In this way you can show users their own information from your own database.
D. Push messages
After users have logged in to the app, you will also be able to send push messages to a single user or to users matching one or more criteria such as age range or gender.
STATUS: Sending a personal push message is Available! Read more here.
